I first came to Inner Wisdom Chiropractic, as a receptionist when they first opened. I have a Health and Wellness Business so I am very much aligned with allowing the logic of your body to heal yourself and knowing that we all have that and possess that innate healthiness. I started bringing my children here.

Margaret
My eldest daughter, Margaret, is being treated for scoliosis. She had a pretty bad scoliosis with about a 33 degree curve. She was braced for two years by a hospital with six months visits for monitoring. On one of these visits, the hospital was surprised because they had never seen that amount of correction. She has been seeing Dr. Kim and doing regular chiropractic treatment for a year and a half. It was really exciting comparing the x-rays from her previous doctors with the ones that Dr. Kim took. It has really made a profound difference in the carriage of her body. The interesting thing about Margaret is that it changed her ability to connect with people on an emotional level. You can really see her opening up and that speaks to when you remove those sublixations that are pinching off the nerves that are not allowing for the full expression of life. It wasn’t a complaint by Margaret but I can see the emotional and social blossoming of her after that happened.

Justin
He is a classic 14 year old dude. He slouches a lot and lounges on his sacrum. After the first adjustment by Dr. Kim using the ABC technique, he couldn’t return to that place of poor posture right after that first adjustment.

I will tell people not to be afraid of chiropractic, coming from a western medicine background and moving into a eastern medicine type of a life. It’s a beautiful thing!

I started coming to Inner Wisdom Chiropractic because I was suffering from migraines almost on a daily basis for about 20 years. Having come here, it has made a world of difference in my life. Dr. Kim is an absolutely amazing individual. She is so thoughtful. She takes her time with you. She explains everything to you. My life has improved greatly because now I don’t suffer from migraines on a daily basis. I may get one every couple of weeks and Dr. Kim does an adjustment and it goes away. Give chiropractic a chance. Modern medicine as we know it is not the say-all-end-all. There are other ways to improve your health and I highly recommend going to chiropractic treatments.

It was like coming to a family. We immediately connected. Dr. Kim listens to what you are saying and she truly and genuinely cares. My life has really improved. For the first time in almost 30 years I do not have to wear a mouth splint for my TMJ. I do not have any jaw pains or stiffness. Everything moves like it is supposed to. My migraines have declined in frequency and intensity. I can breathe better. I feel better. I haven’t had an asthma attack in over a year. I owe all to Dr. Kim. She is the only doctor I have been seeing in the last year. I brought my husband to see her and then I brought my daughter.

People are looking for a quick fix and that’s not here. You have to be patient. Your body did not get this way overnight and the fix is not going to be overnight.

I had problems with my lower back. I had back pain – I had an injury from a long time ago and it never really got better. So I was looking for chiropractic to help me feel better and help my lower back. I have been coming here for a period of time and it has definitely helped and I have much much less pain in my lower back. But I’ve also noticed that I’ve got a lot more range of motion in my neck and shoulders and my arms. It has definitely loosened me up so that I can move easier.

They are very caring. They really want people to feel better. You get that sense that they really want to help you – they want to make you healthy. So it’s always a pleasant experience. At first it seems a little strange because they are doing things that don’t seem to be related to where your symptoms are. But as I have learned over the course of time, the mechanics of working with your spine, it makes sense from a structural standpoint in your body.

I first came to Inner Wisdom because I was in pain. My friend referred me. Their techniques are different and new to me. I enjoy being with Dr. Ken. He listens to you about where the pain is. The pain intensity has definitely decreased in the last few months. It is not totally gone however we are getting there. I don’t wake up with pain all the time and walk around in pain. I can move a little more freely. Very friendly and homely atmosphere here. It’s one of the reasons I keep coming back.

I first came to Inner Wisdom Chiropractic because I was having trouble standing and walking. I had a tremendous amount of pain in my feet and I make my living by standing up in front of groups and motivating them and moving and being on my feet. So this physical condition had a huge impact on my life. I came to see Dr. Kim and Dr. Ken. It has been the most amazing journey. They’ve really had a profound impact for me in how I view my health and how I see what I am able to do to live a fuller and more meaningful life.

It sounds a little crazy doesn’t it from a chiropractic adjustment? But the way that they treat their patients here at Inner Wisdom Chiropractic is really about teaching us how to live our fullest life, to be able to be fully engaged because when you’re are in pain, you’re not completely there for your relationships, you’re not completely there for your work. In our strong opinion …

Health care in this country is really sick care. Health insurance is really disease insurance.

“Getting Healthy” in Western Medicine, is really a form of getting rid of symptoms, at all costs, whether in the form of medication or surgery. Although we believe there is a time and place for that, we feel it has been over used and abused.

Our goal for your first visit  is to put you at ease and let you  know that you have come to the right place to begin to take charge of your health.  We want you to leave knowing you have hope for whatever problems you have come to us for.

On your first visit …

You will fill out paperwork.  You will meet the doctor and discuss what you would like to achieve with us.  The Doctor will take a history, do an exam, check your posture,  and run some tests to figure out what is going on.  We will also take any necessary x-rays to see how long your problem has be going on, how severe it is and to make sure you are a chiropractic candidate.

On your second visit …

We show you what we found to be the causes of your health problems and explain how we may be able to help you!  If we know we can help you, you will have the option of receiving your first adjustment at this visit.

Achieving true health happens from the inside out and not from the outside in as we have been taught. Our bodies have the ability to heal itself.
